News and Events

The members of the Exchange Club of Newport Harbor are seldom idle. We spend much of the spring focused on our youth programs, offering recognition and scholarships to students before schools let out for the summer. At the same time, we are planning and executing our Field of Honor project, a massive undertaking to honor members of the Armed Services, both past and present. And there are other projects and programs along the way.

In the fall, we hold our annual Movie Night Preview, our major fundraiser in support of child abuse prevention. We have other fundraisers, as well. This year it is October 10. See Home Page.

We meet regularly and often have guest speakers, which keeps us up-to-date on current events and gives us better insight into our community. We also have a couple of major social activities, including a Christmas Party and an evening in August at Laguna Beach's famous Art-A-Fair.

In May, we are focused on our Field of Honor. The event will be held the weekend of the third Saturday of May in 2014. To see what it's all about (and yes, the video is different from the one on the Home page), click on the link below.
